The Museums in New York City are some of the greatest in the world. If I had to recommend one in particular it would be the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The museum has arguably the finest collection of classics and modern art in the United States and features paintings, sculptures and other art pieces from ancient times to the present.
A special exhibit on display until May 11th is Poussin and Nature Arcadian Visions.
The museum is surrounded by the beautiful Central Park and prestigious Upper East Side Apartment Community.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art is located on 82nd Street and 5th Avenue, it is easily accessible via the Subway and the M2 busline.
Suggested Adult Admission is $20 per person, but student rates are much lower and if the price tag is too much for you, you can always donate a lesser amount.
